You would not believe it, but TfL actually gives refunds if the train is late 15 min or more, I've tried it. All you need to do is complete the form online and after about a month you will receive a voucher that you can redeem in form of a ticket (or part of it) or topup in your oyster, mine came with £4 pounds! Besides the already covered Soho, the City and parts of the Thames river bank, we will be able to enjoy wifi soon in Kensington and Chelsea, Camden and Islington, all for a flat rate of £11.00pm (too bad it probably won't reach Hammersmith).And if that wasn't enough, the Department of Trade and Industry received a report urging to take action towards upgrading broadband speed in the UK to keep up with other countries (apparently Hong Kong has been enjoying 100Mbps while I'm lucky if my up to 8Mbps connection gets to 2Mbps).
